Privacy Policy

Landed is a done-for-you job search service operated by Landed LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you get it deleted. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will answer in plain English.

Who this covers

This policy applies to the Landed marketing site at landed.cloud, the Landed client portal at app.landed.cloud, and the outreach we run on behalf of Landed clients.

Enquiries from schools

If you use the enquiry form on landed.cloud, we collect your name, work email, role and school, plus anything optional you add: your programme, its approximate cohort size and a note. We also record the page you were on, the site that sent you there, any campaign tags in the link, and when you agreed to be contacted.

We use these details only to reply to your enquiry and to discuss working together. They are stored in Supabase in the United States, the site is hosted by Vercel, and our team is told about each new enquiry by email, sent through Resend. We do not add you to a mailing list.

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

What we collect

  • Google Account basics. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account ID. We use this to create and secure your account.
  • What you give us. Your resume, target roles and companies, what you want out of a job, your scheduling link, and anything else you type into the portal.
  • Outreach data. The employer contacts we research for you, the emails drafted and sent on your behalf, and the replies to those emails.
  • Basic usage data. Log and device information generated when you use the site, used for security and debugging.

We do not collect payment card numbers. Payments, if any, are handled by our payment processor.

Google user data and Limited Use

Landed's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Concretely, that means:

  • We use Google data only to provide and improve the features you asked for.
  • We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising.
  • We do not let humans read your Google data, except with your explicit consent, when needed for security or to fix a bug you reported, or where the law requires it.
  • We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine learning models.

If you connect a Gmail account so we can send outreach from your address, that access is used solely to draft and send those messages and to read the replies to them. You can revoke it at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

How we use your data

  • To run your job search: research employers, write personalized outreach, send it, and track replies.
  • To operate your account, authenticate you, and keep the service secure.
  • To communicate with you about your results and your account.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make Landed work, and only to the extent they need it:

  • Supabase and Vercel, for database hosting and application hosting.
  • Google, for sign-in and, if you connect it, Gmail sending.
  • Resend, for outbound email delivery.
  • Apollo, for employer and contact research.
  • AI model providers, to draft outreach copy from the materials you give us.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

Where it lives and how it is protected

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted Postgres) in the United States. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Portal data is protected by row-level security so one client's records are not readable by another. Access by our team is limited to what is needed to deliver the service.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and outreach data while you are a client and for up to 24 months afterward, so we can honor guarantees and meet record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Your choices

  • Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it.
  • Ask us to delete your account and associated data.
  • Disconnect your Google account at any time.
  • Ask us to stop sending outreach on your behalf at any time.

Email us and we will action any of these within 30 days.

Children

Landed is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy, we will update the date above and notify active clients by email.
